Frankie: I don't wanna.
Twinkie: You fought for this post, so just do it!
Frankie: Do I have to? Will you help me?
Twinkie: Yes, you do. Maybe a little.
Frankie: But it's embarrassing and it's Saturday too.
Twinkie: I know, but you asked for it.
Frankie: Fine...
Hello dear furiends. Frankie The Chiweenie here. I'm back again. I would have loved to talk to you about my hikes and the nice smells, and the-- Oh, well. Twinkie's making me tell you about dog obedience training. School sucks, or so I'm recently starting to think.
Remember how well I did in my last dog obedience training class? I was pawesome; I got a certificate and a star on my forehead, and I made mommy proud of me, and you all congratulated me... Remember? Well that was my last class. I started a new one. It's not going too well.
At first I sat on momma's lap on the floor
I'm trying to become a canine good citizen, but it's not that easy
So Mommy decided to take me to puppy play time. She said something about "socialization". There were three cute puppies in this class.
I growled at all of them!
I couldn't help myself, I got scared
They weren't scared at all
They had fun
Lots of fun
They had so much fun they're all blurry
They even had treats together
I watched them have fun and treats
I promise to try harder next time, Mommy. I will even let you groom me. I will also work hard for my canine good citizen certificate.
Twinkie: See it wasn't that bad, was it Frankie?
Frankie: I guess it wasn't. I feel a little less bad actually. Tee hee.
Frankie
Congratulations on your pawsome class, Frankie!!

Oh, Frankie, the first day of school is ALWAYS hard. I know. But you will feel better about it in no time, I promise. It's good that your momma is so in tune with you and knows when you're skeered or worried and stuff. I bet you'll be a good citizen before you know it!
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,

now now, no bickering...lily would have screamed at all those little ones..

Frankie, sometimes puppy classes are overrated. Why doesn't your mom just let you go back to the barn to play with your fuuriends?
ReplyDeleteGive Twink a kiss for me?
Gunther
All things in time, Frankie!

ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
I think I would have growled at those 3, too. They look rambuckshus. Thanks for trying to help me convince Marco to start his own blog. It's a lost cause. He's too lazy.
ReplyDeleteCat Mandu
Frankie we admire you for doing the best you could under the circumstances. You hang in there you'll be a model Citizen very soon. There was lots of barking and sniffing going on kind of hard to concentrate

Hey Twinkie,
ReplyDeleteWe will be active participants in the GABE. We have already posted the badge in our sidebar and are doing an info post tomorrow (Monday). We will send you the link when we do our "entry" post. We are looking forward to the GABE. Good luck on the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification; two of us (Jubal and J.E.B.) got certs but then there are too many of us now.

Hi Frankie,
ReplyDeleteWe think you did grrreat! Look at how many furrends you made! You were the most popular pup there!
You'll be fine, you'll see.
Luv,
Riley and Star.
Awww, Frankie! You will soon feel more comfy at class. We all know you are an A student. I believe in you. Also, I don't care if you are a ChiWeenie or a whatever.....I still love you! No wonder you are nervous at class after that lady said you were hers.
ReplyDeleteNow, a note for the fabulous Twink...
Sheesh, girl, how many times a day do you post? I think everyone knows I am always behind on reading and commenting....Mom says there just isn't enough time to do it all every day. I had 15! Yes, 15 of your posts to read today! Yes, I do read them all. When I finally got Mom to sit down and help me yesterday we had about 475 posts to read (we are now down to 190). Why she lets it get that way I will never figure out. Now, why am I telling you all of this you ask? I have no idea! I forgot the point cause thinking about this irritates me! Sigh! Can I come and stay at your house? Your mom seems to keep up way better then my mom does.
We can't figure out what we want to do for GABE...any ideas for this long dog?
Snuggles,
Twix
Don't feel bad Frankie! When I went to puppy class I was the only one who had to stay after for detention in the whole class ever!
