The Marrow Bone Feast

I often talk about the ease with which all of us small dogs devour marrow bones. I finally got the opportunity to get photos and video of the most noteworthy marrow bone technique. Unfortunately, just like my extra large dog friends can surf the countertops and I can't, my technique applies to small dogs only.

CHIWEENIE DEMONSTRATES MARROW BONE EATING TECHNIQUE

Passion

Dedication

Determination

Devotion

And now I will demonstrate with a video
1. my expert paw scooping technique
2. the fact that the chiweenie isn't as innocent as you all think (she has food aggression issues)

And as the brindle-bum chews away . . .
Spotted dog is only interested in belly rubs

While I'm working on my strength of character.

Any questions?

  3. You put on a great demonstration. I can't use that method and I'm too short to counter surf, but then no one ever said life would be fair. What I'm taking away from this is your on camera presence - the way you look at the camera every so often as it to make sure your audience is getting the point, for instance. Couldn't we get rid of one of those boring humans on the teevee and give you your own show. Cooking or lifestyle or something? You would totally rock.

  7. As big as that bone was, I'd have had Mom saw it in thirds so everybody could have some! Problem solved!

  8. Oh gosh! That was a MOST delicious looking bone! I wish I had a bone that was as big as me. And Twinkie, I luved your paw scooping technique. Very impressive. But, um, I can't believes Frankie just yoinked it away like that. Kinda rude if you ask me.

  10. Sure you have a PAWesome technique!
That is a big bone but watching what happened at the end... maybe 2 bones would be better!

  12. Ummm, Twink - something isn't quite right here. You have that humongous marrow bone that you can even share with Frankie, and here all we can get our these little ones that look like someone cut yours into about six one-inch pieces. Big ones like that are just not to be had. And these little ones really aren't that safe for our big choppers. Can we work out some sort of trade here?

  14. Why do you insist on Mango sized bones? You could fit your whole head in there. You lucky little thing.
