Pet Photo Contest Going Strong


This has been the most significant National Dog Week of my life. I am constantly aware of where I came from therefore I feel grateful every minute of the day. I love my forever home, my family, my furiends, my life. Add to all this the pet photo contest "Show Us Your Tongue" and I am one ecstatic teacup chihuahua! 

I want to thank everybody for their contageous excitement. It keeps me wagging my tail as I go over the multitude of entries that keep pouring in. It also keeps me up at night, but that's okay, because I love it!
 
I only have two concerns:

One canine furiend sent me a worrysome note. She said she wouldn't pose her tongue for her human. Whaaa-t? Ever heard of peanut butter? Nope, no mercy, you have to SHOW US YOUR TONGUE. 

My other concern is the bad rep we may be getting as vital members of the animal blog-dom. Ever wondered what impression a new visitor would get visiting animal blogs in the last couple of days? They're going to think we're rude. BOL

    This is a super great contest, Twinkie! I'm gonna post mine tomorrow and then I'll come over here to remind you. I'm finding it kinda hard to decide which one to use. Who knew there were so many pictures of me with my tongue hanging out?

    We're not rude - at least everyone in my household was smiling when they were sticking their tongues out! (Well, except for that really weird face Abby was making - I think she woke up that way!) We can't wait to see all the contestants!

    Oh we love the contest Twinkie - we did a post about it today! And we think that even new visitors will know we aren't being rude because we did mention why we were sticking our tongues out! And really, if they think we are rude from that, well, maybe they just aren't fun enough to want to visit again anyway! We think the contest is a great idea, and we love that it is Dog Week!

    My cussin Sarge is going to be getting into your contest. That will be GOOD... He has a Weird tongue.

    BUTT....
    My cussin FRANCINE ... ALSO wants in and, well she is kinda ODD.
    She has her entry ready for tomorrow ... ON MY BLOG !! I'm not tooo happy about that. AND the worstest pawt is... I keep tellin her that your name is TWINKIE butt she keeps getting it Wrong. She is calling you TWINKLE beclaws it seems that is some dawg she met in that New Or Leans place. She says that Twinkle Dawg wore really sparkly costumes and stuffs. I just don't know about all of this.
    If you don't want her in the contest... it'll be ok...

    There has been an overwhelming repsonse to this contest, Twinkie. It must have really struck a chord with a lot of doggies. I guess we might not make such a great impression, but as Mango has mentioned, what's really worrisome is what people are really searching for when they land on one of these posts via Google.
