Petco Lockdown

¡ Ay Caramba ! Pedro, the chihuahua puppy did it again. M took him to puppy playtime at our local Petco, as she tries to do every Monday, in order to "socialize" him. Yeah, right. Last time he was there, he bit a bulldog on its head. M apologized profusely to the owner, a gracious lady, and luckily there were no vet bills involved. Yesterday, instead of biting his playmates, Pedro decided he was small enough to get out of the enclosure used for puppy playtime. M was busy yapping away with the other dog owners, when she noticed the trouble-child had left. The store was on instant alert, the doors sealed shut, and the wonderful employees got on the PA and started making announcements.
Pedro returned on his own, looking terrified and rather upset with M for ditching him!!!
Petco-peace was once again restored, but class was dismissed early (huh). M is wondering when she and Pedro will be kicked out for good . . .

"Wasn't me."

  1. Um, we don't see a Canine Good Citizenship award in Pedro's future - at least not anytime soon. But we do have faith that he will learn to be a good boy (otherwise he will just have to be an honorary member of our naughty kitty club).

We have missed seeing you and all the gang Twinkie - mom is letting us visit so it is going so slow (and we are going newest to oldest right now so we have quite a few to see from you still - wonder what we will see that we missed that Pedro did!)

  5. Um, so, Twinkie. I don't know if you know this already and if you don't, I hate to be the one to break it to you but, well, your new brudder seems to be a bit of a troublemaker. Better nip it in the bud now before he starts holding up liquor stores or something.

  8. Twink,

You might want to check his internet access... he may be corresponding with a certain doxie and getting some long distance training!

We only thought of that because of Mayzie's comment about liquour store hold ups...

  10. All we can say is that Pedro sure does make life interesting:)

Hope you all aren't flooded and can still enjoy some outdoor time. Our human brother is getting out of there tomorrow and headed here for the holidays.

    Happy Holidays.

  11. That little devil! Boy, he sure can cause some smack to go down. Can't believe he bit a bulldog on the head. Maybe your cat should give him a beat down to show him who's boss..

  14. Nothing but trouble. Looks like he might be better off going to the reform school instead of nice puppy playgroup. Best to nip these things in the bud.
