PetzOff Blanket | A Product Review

A product review of the Petz Off Blanket, which, according to ads promises to be:

". . . a pet-friendly, esthetically-pleasing solution designed to keep pets off furniture. A proven training tool on one side and a decorator-quality throw on the reverse, PetzOff effectively deters pets from getting on furniture. "

Twink's Comment: Not exactly

"PetzOFF™ Saves Furniture
Without Harming Your Pets"

Twink's Comment: Nooot

"PetzOFF™ is the very first product designed exclusively to protect your furniture and your pets. We know there are days you can’t decide which is more important - your pet or your furniture.
Now you don’t have to choose!"

Twink's Comment: Of course you don't have to choose! What a silly statement. It's always pets first, duh!

"When not in use, the attractive fabric side can be draped fashionably over the back of the sofa. "

Twink's Response to this:
It can also adorn your floors and provide excellent nesting material for rodents.

"Animal experts have confirmed pets don't like the sound or feel of aluminum foil. "

Twink's take:
But we, the animals, disagree. We have all enjoyed the PetzOff blanket, both cats and dogs!

PetzOff Blanket Review O-ver

  2. And just to confirm: If there was any food in aluminum foil at any time, or if it was sitting next to any food, or if it was in the grocery store near food, Jack would chew aluminum foil like it was prime rib! He wouldn't swallow it, but it should wouldn't be a deterrent! :)

  3. What a waster - we bet a whole big roll of aluminum foil is a lot cheaper:) We have certain furniture we are not allowed on. When Phantom, Dakota, and later Thunder were young, she just set mousetraps on them. It only took one or two snap sounds to deter them from even thinking of getting up there. Then she left them unset on the furniture for several weeks - made for quite the conversation pieces when company stopped by. Ciara has not been subjected to the mousetrap training but seems to follow suit with what Thunder does. Now if only that would transofer to her gardening techniques.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  8. We were wondering why anyone would want to keep pets off furniture in the first place. I'm glad to see that yet another attempt to thwart us from our rightful places in the house has been shredded. (Literally and figuratively.) Nice work, guys (and gals)!
