How Was YOUR Weekend?

Ours could have been a lot better. M was harassed by Bob, her juvenile delinquent cat, and didn't get to sleep but a few minutes at a time. Bob serenaded her non stop and his voice sucks. M got up and squirted him over and over, but in the morning, Bob was happily rubbing against M's legs, as she was struggling to wake up enough to make some strong coffee. She was short tempered and all about business for the rest of the weekend. She did Spring Cleaning which included all of us, eleven cats and dogs. She groomed all of us! She clipped our claws, trimmed the cats' nails, got the knots out of the long haired cats . . . in a few words: she ruined a perfectly good weekend.
You know me, however, I don't like to dwell on the bad. I like to focus on the goodness around me. For one thing, I had pasta. Pasta is by far my favorite food in the entire universe. It's scrumdiddlyumptious . M's daughter took Pedrito with her to study for his finals at USC! The house was soooo quiet. We all got to chill and enjoy the nice warm weather sprawled out on the grass without being harassed. It was heaven, really. Even the kittens were out playing all day long, not fearing an attack from the devilish puppy.

I'm not crazy about Spring Cleaning, but I sure did enjoy the short absence of my little terrorista bro.

I hope you had an even better weekend :)

  2. Twink, you know that pasta is Phantom's all time favorite food too, but it is off limits for now. Another weekend of sickies here.

  9. We did the spring cleaning too. Not so bad. At least there won't be labrafurs blowing across the floor for a day or two.

  11. Hey, that Spring Cleaning business sounds really tough. I'm so glad there's no danger of Gail ever trying that! If you want to enjoy a 'virtual' nice weekend, do visit my blog today.

  14. Hi Twinkie! We are dreading when our mom gets in the mood for spring cleaning - we got out of it for the most part so far because she was sick last weekend but we know it is coming - and we know that means trouble for us!

We think it is funny that Bob got squirted a bunch but was still loving on your mom - but then we admit we are the same way!
