Fourth Of July Fireworks

Here is my Fourth of July dog advice:

Sleep like a chiweenie tonight because tomorrow...

You won't know where to hide!

Stay safe!

  1. Don't hide! Come out and enjoy the fireworks! :)

  2. We go up to the local church to watch fireworks....We prefer to stay in the car with the radio turned up so the boomers don't hurt our ears. Stay safe!

  3. Fireworks don't bother me much. Thunderstorms either. But...Mom says she wants me INSIDE once it's dark tonight and tomorrow night, both, because she worries about stray explosive devices landing in our yard. Private fireworks are totally illegal here, but that stops no one.

  4. We used to be totally scared of fireworks but the other night (we up here in Canada so had our birthday already), mom had the window open and we could hear the booms but we only did a couple quiet woofs and then went back to sleep!

Mom was most happy about that!

  7. Thanks for stopping by. Don't feel bad for being busy. I am too. I'm way behind on reading blogs. We'll catch up in the winter. For now I plan to enjoy the summer because it's already half over. :)

  8. We've already been hearing blasts all week in our neighborhood. My people were nice enough to close up the house & turn on the air-conditioning, so I don't have to hide in the bath tub too much!

  11. Phantom is the only one here who minds the fireworks. TD doesn't care at all and we aren't sure how Ciara will react. But since nothing fazes her, we are sure she will be fine. And all this economy downturn stuff has caused most of the big fireworks displays to get cancelled - no money in the city budgets:(

Hope you don't hear those bangs, Twink.

  14. Very good advice Frankie...my mom leaves me home with the tv on. She says lots of doggies get scared and run off at the park EVERY year. Some people never learn. Twink looks save in the mamas lap.

  15. Our local fireworks were tonight, so it's already over for us, although Lilac is the only one who gets upset. We'll be snoozing away tomorrow night while Mom and Dad go to the city to see the big show.

  18. Too true! But for as many issues as people (my dad) say I have, that's one thing that doesn't bother me!
