First they go for a lovely dog hike.
As you see, they allow Linguini to lead
Rhodesian ridgeback dogs are very polite by nature
After the hike they like to have a picnic
Then Hank negotiates the dog food and homemade dog treats
I hear he's a pawesome host
On a full tummy, they get to catch up on their zzzs
Isn't Hank an adorable pretzel?

I wish I could join them, because I never like being left home alone, but I understand that Linguini needs her big-dog time. I love my older sister and how happy she comes home after her special dog hiking expeditions. Besides, I can't complain, I'm going to a new horse barn today!
Twink!

One of my friends adopted a Rhodi-Lab puppy after her sweet dog, Teal, crossed over the Bridge. Her dog is named Sassy and she is very sweet and also adorable.

My mom and dad know three Rhodies and they all likes to sleep like pretzels. It's very much funny, they say, how a big dog can make themselves so much littler. I'm glad you're understanding about Linguini having big dog time. I think that is Most Nice of you.
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
You are so sweet, Twink, to let Linguini have her special time too. Hank looks like a great host and furiend. Have fun at the new barn and don't forget the camera.

That looks like a great hike and it is so good that they all get along so well. Maybe Linguini could carry you in a little back pack so you could enjoy the hike.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Niamh & Ambrose
Your mom is wise. We know some Roadies and they are pretty strong and fast. One isn't as nice your friends so mom doesn't allow around them.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Betty
Sure if nice of you to give her big dog time. :)
ReplyDeleteTWink..
ReplyDeleteYour big bros and sis are impressive! best left linguini who can throw some sauce on their sass. Hmm but that after party.. did u get to go?
norwood
Yesh, big dogs need to be with big dogs sometimes.
ReplyDeletePine nuts from China? Boy, that sure is a new one for our momma. We don't get to eat anything from China. Momma told us that a couple of years back China food was killing kitties in the USA and then that led to baby formula and lead paint on baby bibs and in toys. We stay away from that China stuff. They don't have any respect for life at all.
I'm so happy to see the fun Linguini had wif hew bootiful Whodie fwiends.
ReplyDeleteYou awe such a love fow being happy fow hew

It looks like a lovely day was had by all. You're very generous to share Linguini with her friends!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Linguini gets his Big-dog time. Funny, in one of those photos, his bright spotted coat blended into the world better than the Rhodie's tan coats - I picked them out first!
ReplyDeleteA new barn sounds like a blast!
Looks like a wonderful day :) We love the pretzel picture!
ReplyDeleteThat is so considerate of you. As much as Linguini likes you and Frankie, I am sure she appreciates having some big dog time.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,

Twinkie,
ReplyDeleteYou are one good lookin chihuahua! You visited me when my brother Ziggy died and I really appreciated it! We kinda look a little alike. I have a good lookin' cousin Rambo that lives in California too. You should check out his blog if you haven't been there before.
