Bandit-Masked Intruders

We had some not-so-welcome company inside our garage last night.

Yikes!

One of the raccoons was missing an eye. He looked really scary. What's even more hair-raising is that raccoons are adaptable feeders, which means they will eat just about anything, from fish, mice, trash, tiny dogs . . .

Raccoons are troublemakers and dangerous. They can also weigh 25lbs or more. Luckily, they're nocturnal, so during the day, all of us small dogs get to roam around our yard and take in the sun's rays.

They wreak havoc frequently at our home. They eat all our fish from the pond, attack the chickens in the middle of the night, and sometimes they even manage to open our food bins and eat all the dog food!

I do not like raccoons and that's final. Now, I'm sure you'll all believe me when I tell you that M has even raised a baby raccoon, but that was before my time.

These raccoons were lucky M was here. Had I been watching the house on my own, I would have taught them a lesson they'd never forget!

Friday's Funnies

Every time I share my dog training tips with y'all, I stress the fact that we, the cats and dogs, rule the household. We outsmart all humans. That's why my dog training tips are aimed at my good furiends, and NOT their pawrents. To start out the weekend on a funny note, and to take off the stress of this past week, allow me to prove my point by sharing a video that proves just how much smarter we are than humans.

TGIF Video!

Just ignore the canned laughter and add your own laugh track

Spots! A Trip Down Memory Lane . . .

Inspired by my two last posts, M's peanut's 21st birthday and the senior spotted dog, I wanted to share some oldies but goodies.

Check out all these beloved spots!

We Interrupt Our Blogging Because . . .

We're celebrating. It's M's peanut's

21st birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Daphne Avalon*

And many more . . .  la la la (and I don't mean the cervezas)
We all love our human sissy!
She often stops by for TLC, lots of petting, and sometimes, she takes us to spend the night with her at USC where she studies.

Monday Funnies

Mondays are rough on most of us, so I wanted to start out our week with a few jokes. In order to stick with my blog's main theme, dogs, I decided to use Mother In Law jokes and substitute Pedro, my nutty, devilish, obnoxious and extremely annoying baby bro.

Dog Jokes!

1. Q:  What do you do if you miss your baby bro??
A:  RELOAD, AND TRY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Two dogs were in a pub.  One says to her pack mate, "My baby bro is an angel."  Her friend replies, "You're lucky.  Mine is still alive."

3. Q:  How do you stop your baby bro from drowning?

A:  Take your paw off his head.

4. Q:  Why do they bury annoying baby bros 18 feet down, when everyone else is buried 6 feet down?

A:  Because, deep down, they really are very nice puppies.

5. Q:  Why would you rather deal with a vicious dog than your own baby bro?

A:  A vicious dog eventually lets go!

6. "My baby bro was bitten by a rabid dog yesterday."
"How is she now?"
"She's fine, but the dog died."

7. Q:  The difference between outlaws and baby bros?

A:  Outlaws are Wanted!!

These "jokes" are dedicated to my furiends who "suffer" from the addition of a new pack member. I'm still working on my idea for a SIBLING EXCHANGE PROGRAM (hear me Fiona, Thunder, Phantom, Bunny and family . . .  ?)

Have a great week!

Blue Heeler Break

Got some fun blue heeler pictures of my barn friends, the rescue dogs, Holly and Maddie.

I hope you enjoy Sunday's Blue Heeler Pictures!
[The little confused pink dot is the comic relief]

Check out the athleticism of this ol' girl.
Maddie, straining to grab the ball mid-air, is a senior dog. She's almost 12 years old.
And many more good years, furiend!

Maddie and the rest of her rescue dog siblings, obviously a rather mixed pack, having "a ball".

Boomer, the chihuahua attached to Maddie's tail . . . well that's where he spends his time when they play ball. Yes, always.

 Really!

The two blue heelers have had enough for now.
[And the pink dot moves in, look closely]

He he [the coast is clear]. Enjoy, brave chihuahua puppy . . .

Have a lovely Sunday!
