Happy Cinco De Mayo

You were right, Tessa and Lacie.

Pedrito did start the pawty a bit too soon!
"What's happening, hot stuff?"

 * * *

Salud, Ruby and Sarge!

Arriba, Benny and Lilly!!!

Rock on and drink on, Fiona and Mutant Sis!

Mr. Pip, may your personal chauffeur stay slobber, pal.

Whoohoo, Oskaroo!

On a serious note:
Please, oh please, love of my life, Mango the Greaterest, no more Ceasar's! Be well my darling...

Weenie Roast

That's right! It's that time of the year again!

KROQ's Weenie Roast 2011
Saturday, June 4th
Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

KROQ has gathered some of the biggest names in rock for this event, including:

Linkin Park, Rise Against, The Strokes, Bad Religion, Cage The Elephant, A Day To Remember, Face To Face, Neon Trees, The Airborne Toxic Event, Lykke Li, Foster The People and Young The Giant.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, May 5th at 12pm (PT) online at Ticketmaster.com only.
  • Orchestra $75.00 + fees
  • Loge: $75.00 + fees
  • Center Terrace $75.00 + fees
  • Rear Side Terrace $55.00 + fees
  • Lawn $45.00 + fees

The most important question:

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT WEENIE ROAST?

I don't know the answer to that one. I checked online and under general rules only found that there are no chairs, tables, plastic containers, coolers, alcoholic beverages, backpacks, or barbeques allowed. I believe only seeing eye dogs are allowed. To be 100% certain, you have to call the box office at (949) 855 8095 on the day of the concert.

I, Twinkie, the teacup chihuahua, will probably sneak in, in M's pocket. As for the rest of you ... Mango, The entire OP Pack (get well Phantom!), and others who don't quite fit into a pocket, GOOD LUCK! BOL

One more clarification:

Do NOT confuse Weenie Roast with Chiweenie Roast, kk?

Thank you very much!

How Was YOUR Weekend?

Ours could have been a lot better. M was harassed by Bob, her juvenile delinquent cat, and didn't get to sleep but a few minutes at a time. Bob serenaded her non stop and his voice sucks. M got up and squirted him over and over, but in the morning, Bob was happily rubbing against M's legs, as she was struggling to wake up enough to make some strong coffee. She was short tempered and all about business for the rest of the weekend. She did Spring Cleaning which included all of us, eleven cats and dogs. She groomed all of us! She clipped our claws, trimmed the cats' nails, got the knots out of the long haired cats . . . in a few words: she ruined a perfectly good weekend.
You know me, however, I don't like to dwell on the bad. I like to focus on the goodness around me. For one thing, I had pasta. Pasta is by far my favorite food in the entire universe. It's scrumdiddlyumptious . M's daughter took Pedrito with her to study for his finals at USC! The house was soooo quiet. We all got to chill and enjoy the nice warm weather sprawled out on the grass without being harassed. It was heaven, really. Even the kittens were out playing all day long, not fearing an attack from the devilish puppy.

I'm not crazy about Spring Cleaning, but I sure did enjoy the short absence of my little terrorista bro.

I hope you had an even better weekend :)

The Spotted Patient

Update on Linguini's health

The senior dog's health is slowly improving. The pain is manageable through the use of Tramadol and Deramaxx. The mornings and evenings seem to be the toughest times of the day for her. M is waiting for the inflammation to go down before taking her for acupuncture. By now, we're convinced that it's Linguini's neck that is causing her all the pain. She's never going to wear a dog collar again. She's been fitted into a beautiful, reflective, and comfortable body harness.

She is resting comfortably receiving around the clock TLC and yummy, soft, small dog treats that she can enjoy.
