Too Much Fun

Not much time to blog, but always time to . . . document (aka photo frenzy extravaganza)

Since the Danes came to live with us, Pedro has left Frankie and me alone. Phe-w!

Here's why:

The lil' dot on the right is no other but my nutty devilish baby bro, Pedrito. We've renamed him Paco and we're calling him a "good dog". Hopefully he'll make a better Mini Dane than a chihuahua mix.

SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL OUR FURIENDS, THE GREAT DANES OF THE ANIMAL BLOGDOM FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL ADVICE.
WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. AS MUCH AS I'M WORRIED ABOUT BEING STEPPED ON, I CAN'T HELP BUT WISH THE BEST FOR MY NEW GENTLE GIANT SIBS, ZIGGY AND SASHA.

Great Dane Puppies And Us

After yesterday's shocking unveiling, I am under the obligation to at least answer your questions.

Are we adopting or fostering?
Full on and permanent ADOPTION! These babies aren't going anywhere. They've already got a fabulous forever home, ours, and they ain't going nowhere.
Our M doesn't care about flowers much, but she does love d-o-g-s. These Great Dane puppies were a pressie to our M. They are unfortunately NOT rescues, but once we met them, there was no returning them.

How are we all taking it?
Let me break it down for you...

Linguini, what do you think?

Here's your answer. She watches over them like the world's best pup-sitter!

The cats are not too worried. The Great Dane puppies' disposition is so balanced and calm, that even the cats instantly tolerated them nicely.

There are always exceptions.

Pedro, the chihuahua puppy, is convinced he's a Great Dane. Ever since he switched breeds (he used to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback), his disposition has changed completely. He's as sweet natured as his new siblings. We cannot believe the positive overnight change on Pedrito, the ex devilish pup!

M is in heaven. Somebody tell her she won't be able to do this for much longer, please!

We, the smaller dogs,  feel the need to stick together at times, but, other than that, we're all doing well, considering our full home.

FYI, these great dane puppies are going to live the life! Our yard is a full acre.
They are fitting in beautifully and haven't complained once since they arrived.

The best news according to M:
Their poo is VISIBLE.

LOL

Any more questions?

Please do NOT worry about us. This is the first time we've been MIA from posting in two years. There is however a perfectly logical explanation

Our mommy has lost her mind!

Family Edition Friday

Brothers And Sisters

Our beautiful kittens are almost a year old. They have lived together their entire life. Contrary to what animal behaviorists say (that cats are indifferent to the notion of family), our cat family is a tightly knit one. From feedings to play time, they still stick close to each other. Below are some photos of Puddles, the calico kitten, and her baby bro, Charlie, the tuxedo kitten, engaging into adorable kitten play.

Charlie: Puddles . . . Yo, baby sis. Wanna play?

 Charlie: I said, let's play!

Stop it, Cha-lie! Or I'm calling momma.

Charlie: Not before I bite your leg.

Puddles: I'm warning you, Cha-lie. Stop it!

Puddles: I warned you! Now, I'm going to bite your  . . . Wait a minute, you don't have any!

Puddles: Hmm . . . Now what do I do?

Twinkie: Thanks you two. That's a wrap. You can stop and get off now.

The Verminator aka "Rabbies' Breath"

Pedrito, The Verminator, demonstrates his Rat Terrier side
Show them, Killer!

 Check out the passion!

I get tired just by looking at him.

I'm sooo fed up. He sure loves what he does though.

 ¡Ay, caramba!

And the staple: "Wasn't me" Pedro shot.

And that's how Rabbies' Breath does it furiends. . .
Don't be getting no silly ideas now.
