The Dog Tree

You've all heard about the Cat Tree, but how many of you have heard about the Dog Tree?

I love my new dog tree!

Go away, Bob! It's MY tree.

Get lost you two. Can't you see I want my privacy?

Ugh, I have to climb higher to get some peace.

 That's better.

Oh, no! I'm being assaulted from top and bottom.

I just like hanging out.
I said . . . Oh well, silly puppy. Come any closer and I'll make you scream M for momma.

Dogs' Take on Duck Issue

M and her buddies may want to save the world, but, we, the dogs, have different ideas. I, Twinkie, the teacup chihuahua, am truly fed up! It seems like a lifetime ago that I was the center of attention. My queen bee status has changed since the arrival the 11 ugly ducklings. It's as if I'm less cute, all of a sudden.

Here I am, staring at the duck family trying to understand my predicament.

Pedrito is having duck nightmares and hides under the covers at night.

Linguini's stomach hasn't stopped growling, since the ducklings' arrival.

Only the twin idiot gentle giants don't seem to care, but they don't seem to care about much anyway...

Just wanted to air out my thoughts while my blog's feed is down.

We've Gonne Quackers!!!

You can rest assured, when we go MIA even from a day of blogging, it's because something major has occured. Yesterday, I mentioned doubling our population at home. Today, I'm going to share photos of the new family addition.

Nope, that's not all, sillies! I said we doubled!

Nope! Mooore!

That's more like it!
We have the ducks from creekhiker visiting. Their story begins HERE.

Creekhiker did not have the facilities for the duck family, so they called M. Duh! Of course, we can take the family in until they're ready to be set free--in about 2 months.

*Within a few minutes, the duck family did a literal blog hop.*

 Rabbies'-breath loves the ducks.

All of us dogs love the ducks, but, for some reason, the ducks don't seem as fond of us.

 Regardless, we get our entertainment.

We sure do!

Let's see . . . first there were 13 of us . . . BOL

Can't wait for duck season!

Double or Nothing

I have been unable to post this weekend because, we, the animals at my home, doubled! M has been working overtime to accommodate the new family of 12. I'll share photos and details with you asap. Meanwhile, for those of you who are following the Great Dane Puppies' news, they are both doing great. They are extremely gentle, especially with tiny me, and they are good listeners (and talkers). Linguini is also recovering so fast that she's jumping the fence, a-gain.

Puff Doggie!

You've all heard about Puff Daddy, but
Puff Doggie, huh?

Our senior spotted dog, Linguini, did it again. She had us rushing to the dog vet once more. We didn't fear the worst this time. We're all becoming accustomed to the odd things that are happening to her. WTD?!

Within a few minutes, our beloved Linguini's forehead went from this to . . .

. . . THIS!

The dog vet discovered it was an abscess. Spotted senior dog's abscess was drained by syringe and she was sent home with antibiotics strong enough for a horse. Of course, she hurled them. M's got a grip by now. She adds some probiotics and a bit of yogurt to Linguini's food, waits a few minutes after each meal and then gives her the antibiotic. She's also, as per the vet's instructions, doing hot compresses three times a day.

Our girl's health is improving fast!

Does Your Cat Keep You Up At Night? | The Bob Bomb

Based on our very own cat, Bob, the orphan kitteh, we've come up with a scientifically tested kit to help all cat owners whose cats wake them up at night by knocking on the bedroom door and meowing.

It's quite common and rather annoying, but some naughty kittehs keep their mommies, daddies, and furiends awake at night by being loud and annoying until they get attention. We, the dogs, and our humans, are not nocturnal. We like and value our zzzs, therefore, I came up with the following:
The naughty kitty corner

 Close Up A

Close Up B

Patent Pending
Disclaimer: No animals but Bob where harmed during the testing and documentation phase of this significant project.

If that doesn't work for you . . . just send me word! I got more tricks up my collar.
