The Dog Stroller Photo Contest

Doggyride, the makers or our dog stroller, is holding a photo contest on Facebook, and I'd like to share some outtakes and some potential entries:

Nothing wrong with two Great Dane Puppies in a tiny dog stroller (BOL)

The gang and I are accompanying the oddity

Senior spotted dog, Linguini, falls down in protest. She wants a ride too.

I just wanted to come up for some air; I did not appreciate the attention.

Rat terrier nanny pushes dog stroller.

Chiweenie pictures do not lie. Frankie is pathetic(ly cute)
 Quickly! Snap the photo, M!

Great Dane = "Great Paw Love"

And a semi-decent pack photo.

Chiweenie Demands Own Dog Calendar

After publishing my personal chihuahua calendar, Frankie, the brindle chiweenie, threw a fit. She said that enough is enough and that between all the new rescues, adoptions, and work, she feels left out. She put all four paws down and demanded a photo shoot in the hopes she will publish her own dog calendar. See, that's what happens when "mutts" suddenly became "designer dogs"!

I'm not so sure M will oblige and give Frankie, the chiweenie, her own dog calendar, but, at least for now, brindle-bum is appeased.

Chiweenie Pictures And A Bonus Shot

Frankie, the brindle chiweenie, posed for a series of shots to help advertise golfing apparel for dogs. In the photos below, she is sporting a fuchsia argyle golf vest.

Chiweenie Pictures:

And now, the bonus shot!

Not only do you get to see me, Twinkie, the teacup chihuahua, but for the record, I don't share my heated dog beds. That's what I call a bonus shot Twink-style.
Now, scram, chiweenie!

Ho-key.

I hope you're having a lovely Sunday!

Chiweenie Pictures

Sweet Frankie, the brindle chiweenie, delicate and timid as usual.
The photos above were taken on a tack trunk at our new horse barn were dogs are not allowed. What a joke!
PS: We're taking Pedro, the chihuahua puppy, to puppy playtime tonight. Our apologies in advance to all the other puppies attending.

Chiweenie Retriever

Frankie, my chiweenie sister, wants to be a golden retriever when she grows up. I told her that it's impossible because she's brindle, therefore not golden, and rather small for a retriever, but she never listens to me. With all these new designer dogs popping up all around us, who knows, maybe this small dog will get her wish.

Chiweenie pictures:

In anticipation . . .

"You're NOT a retriever!"

And finally. . .
Perhaps I was wrong. She may never be golden, but she's an excellent retriever.

Stressed Out Chiweenie

Alternate Title
Through the Dirty Glass Door

When we adopted Frankie, our brindle chiweenie, I was told she was for me. My family thought I could benefit from having another dog around. I loved the idea. I can feel myself getting stronger every day, just because I have someone to make fun of every day.  So, poor brindle-bum is my main target, but it's okay, 'cause she's a good sport and she forgives me everything.
I suppose I can explain the dirty streaks on the glass door. Spotted senior dog did it! When she's hungry, she stands by that glass door with her pink tongue hanging a good foot or so out of her drooling mouth. The rest of the explanation is that M is not really fond of glass cleaning.
I'm glad we got all that straightened out because I now must share stressed out chiweenie pictures.

But why-oh-why is our brindle chiweenie looking so pathetic this time? There can only be two possible explanations. There's either a chimeanie on the other side of the sliding glass door or . . .

The overprotective nursing cat!

My take on all this is that the chiweenie didn't get the memo so clearly etched on the door mat!

Before I go, one tiny favor, for your tiny teacup chihuahua furiend. If you have a spare moment, please pop on over check out my guest post: Twinkie Twinkie Little Star.

Thank you,

Brindle Chiweenie Afraid of . . . Kittens

Frankie's situation is becoming ridiculous. One minor attack the small the black and white chimeanie and our Frankie is afraid of everything. We were supposed to be socializing the newborn kittens but instead we discovered it was the chiweenie that needed socialization. I can't blame her completely though. Suffice it to say that we started her out with the nursing mom, inside her space, the room we call "the nursery". Let me demonstrate with a few chiweenie pictures.

Nursing cats do not like invasions
Farrah is used to our humans, but she is not dog friendly

Brave brindle chiweenie!

Getting braver
(can her eyes bulge out more?)

"I'll show you how it's done, Frankie. I am a teacup chihuahua and I am fearless."

Frankie scratching her head wondering where all those kittens came from
I explained to her about the birds and the bees

Seriously! What is there to be afraid of?

See, we love her

Disclaimer: No chiweenie was harmed during the making of this post

Who Wants Homemade dog Treats?

I was at a horse show the other day and I wanted to share with you what my friends Boomer, the teacup chihuahua, and Tigger, the chiweenie, did! Tsk, tsk.

Let me share with you what I observed

Tigger and Boomer scheming

Boomer looking for the dog treat jar

Boomer: "There is always a dog treat jar!"

"I just know it."

"No, not the Canine Carry Outs! We want the homemade dog treats."

"These dog treats don't taste homemade to me, but they will have to do."

"Now that I think about it, they don't even look like homemade dog treats."

Even Trixie, the chimeanie, made fun of them.
"You two are doofuses."

Please don't mistake me for those two bozos. I'm a well trained Canine Good Citizen and I don't behave like a moron. At this stage in my dog training, I'm proud to tell you that my dog potty training days are behind me and I hardly ever use a leash even at busy horse shows. I heel and proudly accompany my mommy everywhere she goes. I am a brave chiweenie.

Have the bestest longest holiday weekend!
Frankie
