Piss on Earth!
Mom's been talking to the Dip Dip pack of tiny chihuahuas about how to potty train a puppy, and after hearing that Elliot still prefers his wee pad to the cold outdoors, she started thinking in a new direction. She's been trying to potty train Frankie for almost nine months now. Mom also read that the chiweenie is particularly tough to potty train. To make matters even more interesting, we're in the middle of a few storms over here in Cali. So, one plus one equals: wee pads! Duh!
Really now, does this face look like it can be trained?
Currently, I'm enjoying the newfound peace in the house, while wrinkling my tiny nose thanks to the smell of piss, but that should only last 'till the end of the rain season.

My Doggy Nanny (aka my mom's mom) had a Pomeranian that was always happiest to pee on the papers!

what is it w/little dogs and wee-wee pads? must be cuz you're so wee that the big outdoors is too cold and scary! I probably would feel the same in your paws!

PeeEssWoo: we love the title of your post.
Piss on earth. Hehehe. That is funny. Better you than me, though.

I'm sure this will all work out,,, in the end.
The title made me laugh - and love the picture.
Glad you're all laughing at our predicament. Smelly house here and we're not used to that. Thank you for the encouraging comments. Khyra, I'll suggest using paper to my mom since Frankie doesn't like the pads, that is after I'm done reading it.
It's raining non-stop here and Frankie refuses to get her paws wet. BOL!
As for you mighty Mango, I think you're talking about a relentlessly huge lake...

Well, if you can't beat 'em join 'em.
Yes, we have a stinky house as well but pads are better than carpets.

When our Dakota was having issues with holding her urine, mom put newspapers down for her but put a big wee pad under the papers and a vinyl tarp under that. This was only used at night but it make cleanup a lot easier.
Great title - gave us all a chuckle.

So, are Chi's known for being hard to potty train? Cause I know us doxies are. I have wee pads that I use in the middle of the night. And, why would anyone think Frankie would want to go outside unless it is sunny and warm? Duh!
Snuggles,
