A Horse Show | Gold Coast I

The first horse show of the season and we
came to watch

My sister and The Ringer!

Horse shows are not easy on us
We have to be leashed, it's crowded, and this last weekend it was particularly cold. M decided to try on this jacket without the hood this time. Did she really think I wouldn't recognize it? I decided to take 10 minutes to walk an entire foot. M finally gave up and removed the torture device.

Frankie wasn't much happier than me either

Even our furiend, Madi, had a rough day
She was strapped to her new sissy, Holly, for training purposes
One blue heeler leading the other . . .

Luckily, a good samaritan with an awesome jacket took pity on me

By the end of the last day of the show, well, we decided to loosen up a little.
Blue heeler training session: Madi training Holly for the FIFA World Cup

See the black and white Chihuahua?
It's Trixie, from our barn. She really cut loose. She decided to go after Frankie. Physically, the Brat is okay, mentally not so much. She's a sensitive gal and it will take her a while to get over it. I promise I will keep a better eye on my chiweenie sis.

Looking forward to whatever this week has in store. Aren't you?

Twink!

I have seen those paralyzing jackets on other doggies. I am surprised you made it as far as you did. They can even make terriers turn to statues.

You have to be careful around those big guys. You looked so cozy in that jacket with your friend. Glad you had fun!

So your sissy is a Hunter/Jumper person!?! Very nice. Did I tell you mom my used to show Dressage? Glad she got that out of her system & decided to concentrate on something more important (me!!). Agility is full of ex-horse people, not surprisingly! Maybe I'll make mom post some of her competition photos sometime- hehehe!

Does Trixie wear that big padding to protect her from horses? Cos I'm not sure how much protection she'd get from that!

Still, the horses look like they'd be really fun to watch!

We have a tiny little friend, a teacup poodle named Binti and she might weigh all of 4 lbs soaking wet and she hates her coats too but she is learning to like them. Maybe. Looks like the horse show was a lot of fun! Toby, Ginger, Jeter and Halle xoxo

Heya Twink,

I HATE wearing sweaters too. I refuse to move when the parent puts anything on me.

If ya need me to come down there and help ya kick some booty, let me know. I'll bring ya boyfriend with me. ;P

Hi Twinkie! Horse shows look like they would be too stressfull for BabyRD. She keeps her ears back when we are in a big crowd so Daddy says she doesn't like crowds. I probably wouldn't mind at all,but then, I'm like the life of the party!!

Now,about that jacket. We both have many jackets & no problemo there, but when they put a HAT on my head I become the Statue of Welsh Terrier!! After a while I will loosen up, but generally I just stand still for the photgraphers to get their best shots!! hehehe.

Hootie

I bet horse shows are fun. My mom loves them! She won't take me because she seems to think for some reason I'll spend the whole time whining and make her crazy . . . don't know why she'd think that.
