Horse Show | Most Shocking News (Part Deux)

I noticed from Sunday's comments that most of you were upset with the golf cart lady who claimed Frankie was "her Lily," so I'm going to get right to it. She did it again, yesterday. Less drama, less dust, less of everything. She took Frankie over to visit her other dog adoption, with who Frankie supposedly had spent a few days. Frankie did not like that one bit. No recognition, zip. That took the wind out of the lady's sails and she promptly returned Frankie to M and me saying she approved of the way we took care of her. Pfffft No comment. Now, if M wants to get Frankie's DNA tested so we can find out her breed, fine. If not, we really couldn't care less. No matter how much I trash talk my sissy, I love her, and that's the truth.

Frankie can't stand being away from M and me

She wants to be close to us all the time

She is MY sister
No lady's gonna change that
(Jazzi, I am watching over her, like you asked)

Meanwhile, back by the horse stalls....

Remember the prisoners?
(Yes, Norwood, that's Holly, the blue heeler, on the top floor)

They escaped!
(I lead them to a burrito)

The horseback riding lessons paid off. Rider-Sister was champion of the equitation division and qualified for a couple of end of the year medal finals during this horse show. M was misty eyed as usual. She's very proud of both her peanuts!
This is Ringo!

There's been a new barn adoption, but I will share that with you next time. I think I'm crazy for the new guy--no worries Gunther, we're just furiends.
I would like to leave you on a happy note. My furiend, Boomer, the chihuahua, would like to sing for you (woo, for the sibes)

La la la

Wait! What's that?

Frankie's praying

I told her to stop worrying. The lady wasn't taking her away, not as long as I was around. We left shortly after this photo was taken. To be continued...

Hey congrats to the 6-legger (your two-legger atop the big quadruped)!! Looks like there are some pretty cushy places to sit around the stalls! Quite the saga with Frankie... Can't wait for the conclusion!
Oh, and sorry we've been AWOL, mom has been so overwhelmed by the whole Flat Brutus thing, it's all I can do to get her to open the laptop back up so I can visit all my buds! Wouldn't want you to think we were tired of messin' with ya!!

Firstly, congrats to your M's bean! How Most Exciting!

Secondly, I very much liked Boomer's singing picture. I bets he has a nice voice.

Thirdly, maybe if you and Frankie poop on Wacko-Lady's shoes the next time you see her, she'll get the message. Or maybe gets your M to do it.

Frankie does look like she could be a Chitalian Greyhuahua but she's your Chitalian and she knows it. Tell the strange woman to keep her mitts off Frankie. People who adopt dogs and return them have no further rights to animals period.

Twink, tell Frankie we don't give a flyin' Pug what kind of dog she is. She's cute and she's family so it doesn't matter.

Moms said I could come down there and bite that ladies ankle. But only after mom shoves a ridin' boot up her &$%!

That is all.

That creepy lady is not to be trusted. Animals know the truth of a person's character, and Frankie's reaction speaks volumes.

Twinkie, we are so proud of you protecting Frankie!
Family has got to stick together - there are lot of humans out there who are a little strange!

That lady needs to confine her mistakes exclusively to the golf course and mind her own busy-ness. We are happy Frankie is with you.... that was a very very scary story that had a happy ending. xoxo Toby, Ginger, Jeter & Halle

Ummmm...can I borrow that cage for my brudder and sissy. I think they'd look good in it.
I don't know what Frankie is but she no doxie, she got long legs.
PEES: My mum keeps calling you TwinkleToes, my mum is a weirdo.

Sagira said...

Hopefully that lady will leave Frankie alone now. That is some scary stuff. Does Frankie have a microchip just in case that lady tries to pull anything funny?

I think that lady's a bit looney tunes! Mom said they had a somewhat similar experience with the woman who briefly had Blueberry before she came here. They call her "The Crazy Cat Lady." Blueberry let it be known that she did not like her everytime they ran into her!

Mango said...

Crazy lady! Crazy lady! Do you think it might be true? Well, no worries as long as Frankie stays with you where she belongs.

Martine said...

That lady is looney tunes! We hope you don't have to see her again... We say start yapping and shrieking like crazy so she stays away from you!

When my parents first got Miss Bailey, they had a crazy lady who kept calling our house saying Bailey was her dog and that she was going to come to our house and get her! My dad finally had to threaten to call the police and she finally left us alone.

I am shocked to hear this news about Frankie and that lady! She doesn't deserves any doggie! Keep protecting your sis, please!

I only came into this on Part Deux but it sounds like you have had a run-in with a full-blow idiot.
I think you got nuthin' to worry about 'cuz Frankie has made her choice and that is to stay with you.

I totally enjoyed Boomer's song-he sure does know how to entertain.

Woofs and full-blown slobbers,
Chester ;0=)

LOL I love that the first thing you noticed was that Chrome is growing again. He's definitely going through the ugly yearling stage hehe.

I would be more than happy to drive sixty miles to go to the barn, but I can't afford the gas and it's a long drive because it's only interstate part of the way. Going through a large city and then down a bunch of back roads makes the trip long. My work schedule changes every single week and I don't know what days I work most times until the day before so it's impossible for me to take riding lessons right now (even if I had the extra cash), so for now I just visit during events like the parties, shows and clinics. I go about five or six times a year if I'm lucky. I'm glad your sister can work it into her schedule and budget (and I don't think she's nuts at all). :) If I weren't driving a gas guzzler I would probably go more often haha!

As always thanks for commenting and Chrome loves hearing that he has fans who think he's cute. :D

Oh my, your life has gone temporarily (?) insane! Frankie is someone else's dog! What? I think that I follow the whole thing but the lady sounds completely bonkers.

Thank goodness that Frankie is safe and sound with your pack!

I have a friend who competes in horse shows and routinely takes 5 or more dogs with her. Horse shows must be really zany events behind the scenes!

You should have just peed on her leg. Irrefutable proof...

Hi Twink,

We are soo proud of you for being so braves and protecting Frankie. Some hoomans are kind of strange, aren't they?

We are backtracking through, so our comments probably are a bit backwards too (as in we wondered about your color change in the next blog and now realize it was someone else... Boomer?)

What's this!?! Someone tried to take Frankie!? We will stand with the rest of your friends if someone tries to take her! The CCC
