Chiweenie Friday (12)

Hello, dear furiends! Frankie here.

I'm ba-ack, but first I need to say a couple of things about GABE. No, Twinkie's not making me this time. I just like it and hope I win one of the free giveaways.
Keep your posts and links coming up to the 10th of April. If you want to participate or even pawticipate, you need to email us your post's link at twinkietinydogATaolDOTcom. Twinkie's doing her best uploading the links as they come. If you don't see yours within 8 hours of sending it, try once more. Things constantly get lost in space. Speaking of getting lost, any time you feel lost about G.A.B.E., just click on our badge at the top of the sidebar. Business over. Tee-hee.

Time to talk about dog obedience training and school. I can't thank you enough about your encouraging comments from last week. They helpeded me so much that I relaxed and even did some soul searching. This is what I discovered.

The source of my fear
Trixie
Trixie's the one who's been attacking me every time I visit the barn. Trixie's a Chi-meanie and I'm not talking to her ever again.

A careful analysis of my young soul, as Twinkie puts it, made it clear that I am traumatized. I will not be this way forever though. Now that I know why I'm afraid of small black and white dogs, I can take control. I'm growing up fast after all.

Not so fast!

My classmates:
This is beautiful and sweet Roxie
I would love to play with her, but she reminds me of a certain Chi-meanie

Adorable, gentle Augie
He too reminds me of the Chi-meanie

Bright, well-trained handsome Mitch
He's a blue heeler, one of my favorite breeds
He's so well behaved, I shouldn't be afraid of him, but he's also much bigger than I am

Me
As you can see, I was so brave, I even switched chairs

I deserve a tiny drumroll for this next photo

Ta-da!
Now look who's being brave! It's me!

Mommy was so pleased with me. She kept huffing and puffing, but I could tell she was proud not so deep deep down.

I have to run now. I want to visit more Global Animal Blogging Event posts and find out about their free giveaways!!!

Good for you, Frankie. My momma always says that we have to take things that scare us in puppysteps. Sounds like your momma is doing a real good job of helping you with that!

Oh, and I'm real sorry about that Chi-meanie. Did you know sometimes peoples are afraid of me just cuz of the way I looks? But sometimes it's the little ones like that Trixie that can cause the most troubles!

I'm glad you and Twinkie are two little ones who are filled up with luvs!

Ah ha!!! You've gotten to the source of your fear, that is great work dear Frankie. We can see why Trixie would scare you, she sort of scares us through the internet! But if you are scared of black and white dogs, you'd probably be scared of Candy too... but Candy is harmless, she is shy and quiet like you. I bet you would get along great.

When I first went to doggie school I was so scared I would not even eat treats. But I kept going and going and now I am the star pupil. I know you can do it!

Hiya Twink!
I do not believe for a minute that you are a squirrel.

Do you want me to come over there and confront that Chi-meanie? Then we'll see who's askeered of who!! Well, maybe it's sumpthin' you need to learn on your own. Keep at it, I know there is an obnoxious dog in that little cute body of yours somewhere!

Woofs and obnoxious slobbers,
Chester ;0=)

Just keep at it, Frankie. You just need to meet one really friendly black and white sweet pup - hey, wait a minute, maybe you need to meet Phantom, he's a really sweet guy.

Have a great weekend.

Hi Frankie, you are a very cute puppy, and I like your Friday column. Frankie Furter reminded me about GABE and that's how I ended up here in a round-about way! I am glad to meet you and so many other new friends thanks to Twinkie organizing such a fun event. Tell her I said thank you (if you don't mind). And good luck with Trixie - she does look kind of scary but maybe once she gets to know you everything will be easier.

Hello Frankie! :)

I love dogs! (I like animals, in general)
I live with three dogs, many fishes and a turtle, I had a cat, but she dies four months ago (2/1/2010) :'(
You're a very cute doggy! :D

To Frankie mummy:
I really like your blog, good job! :)
Seems you love dogs too and you have very care of Frankie.

Hugs!

Great Job Frankie...I was worried about some dogs at my school too.
You are very smart to figure out about the meanie dog. You can try lifting your lip and giving her a stink eye. It works for me :)

I didn't know Chi-meanies existed! Are they AKC recognized? I sure hope not!

Well, you know what they say frankie: the only thing to fear is... chi-meanies... i mean, fear itself!

Wooos Frankie! I am so sorry about the Chimeanie, sounds like a mean little thing to traumatize woo so. Mum deals with a lot of fear puppies in her class too, so if your Mum needs help, she can always email her!

Frankie! You did great! That chi-meanie really got you confused, but don't worry, not all black and white doggies are mean.

Them Chi's are OFTEN meanies! Our Mimi (Grammy's sister) had a little Chi-meanie that we used to call Nasty Nikki! She was a totally witchy little dog that it was wise to just give a big wide space around. We know that your Mom will help you to overcome the traumas put on you by that mean thing! GO FRANKIE!!!
