A Trip Down Memory Lane

Our senior dog, Linguini, the eleven year old dalmatian mix, was adopted when she was a little pup. M had been looking for her lost cat at the Pasadena Humane Society and had to pass by the dog kennels first. She saw Linguini shivering, all by her tiny self, inside an enormous outdoor kennel. It was November; a cold and rainy month.

M was forced to jump through various bureaucratic hoops in order to adopt Linguini, but it was worth it. Of course, we have not adopted out of that place since.

M's peanuts instantly fell in love with this beautiful and sweet doggie.

Linguini grew up with Rosie, our beloved chocolate lab. Soon, she'll be joining Rosie at ... the rainbow bridge. We're trying to get used to the idea.

Linguini is a sweetheart--an angel of a dog.

She welcomed me into the family and was always gentle with my tiny sickly self.

Her second favorite thing is going places...

... but what she loves the most is FOOD!

Linguini is so sweet-natured, she even put up with Pedrito!

We love our senior spotted dog!
(She enjoyed yesterday's dog hike so much that she forgot about her dog arthritis and even chased after a bunny)

Linquini sure is a beautiful pet. I have to read your back posts because is she sick?
I hope not.

Look at that wee little baby Linguini. I know how sad it is that she is preparing for her trip over the bridge. But she has had a life full of love which is the best ever.

Linguini was beautiful and she still is. She's had a great life. It's always so sad when one of us have to leave for the bridge. Humans have to be quite brave to love us the way you love Linguini.

Hey Twinkie!
Wow, Linguini is great! Very cute puppy pix and she is just gorgeous. Love that pix of you standing under her. I'm sure your whole pack is grateful for every minute together. Thanks for letting us see her.

Linguini is such a cute puppy there. She has grown up to be a beauty too. Hope she doesn't have to go through too much pain with her arthritis. Our senior dog, Beckham, is going through that now. It pains us to see him in pain.

She is so fabulous! We know how hard it is to have an older pup. We loved it though!

This is a difficult time as we get ready to part with our fur balls that pinches the heart. Linquini was beautiful as a pup and beautiful as a senior gal. Our Kelly loved food too- infact when she had a cookie right up to her last breath. Many hugs my friend.
