We took our Ziggy (merloquin) and our Sasha (black), our almost 4-month old Great Dane Puppies to the beach in Santa Barbara this past weekend. Even though the water scared them a bit, they took full advantage of the sandy shore.

At the end of the day, the puppies had made lots of human and furry friends. They were totally exhausted and couldn't wait to get back to their motel.
They also got to go to a horse show and meet lots of horses.

It was Sasha and Bob(-cat) on the pool table. Shhh, don't tell M's son. It's his table.

So did either of them venture a paw into the ocean? Decades ago when mama's family lived in FL, they'd take the Danes to the beach for evening walks. The female would lure the male out into the ocean as the waves went out, then she'd whirl and race the incoming wave back to the shore. She almost always made it in time, and he invariably got soaked.
