Cats and Dogs (and Humans)

I'm here to share a sad sad story...

In our home, cats and dogs, we all get along. M is our mom, our keeper, and our sole food provider, so we should all love her, right? Noot...

Take Gigi Smudge, for example.

See Gigi's pissed off look?
It's permanent.
And even though she was born here, at our house, in M's home office; even though she was solely raised by her mom and M; even though she's spent all nine months of her life with M feeding her. She won't let poor M touch her.

As for the cat and dog situation:

No problem (if you ignore the look of distaste in the spotted dog's face).

Gigi even gets along with Pedrito!

While our poor M gets no TLC from this cat...

So M just sits back, sighs, and watches Gigi Smudge sharpen her claws on her speakers!

Cats and dogs do get along at mi casa, but we're not all sure what to think about humans.

Maybe it is time for M to use some reverse psychology and just ignore Gigi - no treats, no attention - maybe she will change her tune then:)

Somehow we don't think there would be any harmony here b/w dogs and cats:(

She is lucky to have such a good home with four legged playmates. Sorry M is getting disrespected. No accounting for cat behavior, is there.

Hey Twinkie!
Wow, that's a cat for you. I bet Gigi really feels the love, but in true cat fashion, just can't show it. Independent and all that.

well, as long as cats and dogs get along, that's the important thing.

it's not important to go ga-ga for the human. she feeds you. she is simply a means for survival. i mean, right? well, at least for CATS!

Twinkie, I do have to comment here. Mom is always wanting to hold me, but I feel really uncomfortable on laps. I just don't fit, and it's no fun to hang over and feel like you're falling all the time.
