The word is out. The Geffen Company is about to start filming the remake of their 1983 hit teen comedy, Risky Business, staring Tom Cruise. Tom's sexy underwear dance to "Old Time Rock and Roll" has become Hollywood folklore, especially the part where he dances on the couch.
Mr. Cruise turned down the offer to shoot the sequel, but the studio's willing to proceed without him. They finally locked in their main male lead.
The new male star of Risky Business II is no other than:
Ms. Rebecca De Mornay, the original movie's female lead, has also refused to star in the sequel without her co-star. Rumors have it that they are considering a certain Ms. Francine
Chiweenie to replace Ms. De Mornay.
We'll keep you posted

Oh Pedrito we don't know why you weren't in the original movie.

Great casting! Isn't there a part for you Ms.T? Or would you rather send the others out to work to support you in the matter you have become accustomed? Good move!

The last part must surely be edited out in the final cut, shouldn't it? A tad too obscene for most viewer's palates, although I dare say my liberal, hipster self surely doesn't care.
The casting choice is questionable, although I guess I have to wait until the movie comes out to truly comment. Don't want to go around making assumptions! ;)

Wow. Uh. So the rating on the sequel is going to be a tad more restrictive than the original, huh? ;-)
