And Kujo Was His Name-O

Dearest furiends and friends,

Lucky for us (NOT), we do not have to go through the expense of testing Pedrito for his breed. Nope. We don't need any dog DNA test to state what is slowly and painfully becoming obvious. Pedrito is a RAT TERRIER mix, aka TERRORISTA. Doesn't it all make sense? We think so. The temperament fits the bill; so does his high level of energy, his alertness, the deep chest, strong shoulders, his "intelligence", his love of water and swimming, his hardiness ... And now for our biggest clue(s):
Pedro started bringing home rats. He started out with field mice, progressed to rats and (drum roll here) yesterday he proudly brought us a . . . SQUIRREL! Yikes! Doesn't he know we used to run a squirrel rescue??? FYI, the squirrel was not much smaller than Pedro.

Catnip Makes the Cats Go Crazy (continued)

This is the last installment on our latest Catnip Post Series. Recently, you got to see the catnip effects on our cats on the post "Catnip Makes The Cats Go Crazy." Today, you get get the real inside edition along with a word of caution.

It's always a good idea to tiptoe around a cat on catnip.

I, Twinkie, know better, and I listen to my own advice. I'm keeping my distance from Max, the Maine Coon kitty.

Pedrito, on the other paw, has a death wish.

Whack!

But, Pedrito never listens. He lives by his own rules and is used to always getting his way.

He took Max's rug from under his furs and ran away.

Caution:

Furiends, beware! Don't do this at home unsupervised. Catnip Effects can be dangerous for us dogs.

Lack Of Dignity

Dog food is good,

dog treats are great,

but human food is extra special.

When M feeds us hot dogs . . . what can I say, we all lose a bit of our dignity. It's the spotted senior girl though that embarasses herself the most. Check out the progression of "Das Slobber"
